Many have said that I have the gift of healing and may it be true today in Jesus name amen, but I don't know. If I had the gift of healing wouldn't everyone whom I have prayed for be healed? That hasn't been my experience, but may it be so from now on in Jesus name amen. However, I do know that the Word of God works just like it says it will and there is a Word that will deliver any Christian in the world from any infirmity if they will receive it and believe it. The Word of God is the medicine needed for Christians who have infirmities or any kind of affliction point blank period (Proverbs 4:20-21). Praise God! If you don't think so then I'm waiting. I work with anyone who works with me. You don't have to have the gift of healing in order for the power of the Holy Spirit to work in your life and you don't have to have someone lay hands on you in order to receive the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13). As always check the verses before you speak against me.
The Lord has allowed me to pray for people and watch Him heal them right before my eyes or over the phone praise God, but He has also allowed me to instruct those who do not receive instantly through His Word found in their own Bibles and they have received healing after following the instructions I have given them. Glory Halleluiah! So far I’ve only seen a few people healed of AIDS. The quickest one happened in 15 seconds praise God. Her AIDS was of no fault of her own and both of her parents had died of AIDS. The longest took many weeks of ministering with many hours of Bible study. He sent His Word to heal them (Psalm 107:17-20), but who will speak it? Is that a gift? I don't know, but I do know that the Word of God works for those who believe it. I have worked with many who were not healed at first, but after following the instructions were healed and some of them have gone on to pray for others with instant results praise God. It's not rocket science that few can understand (2 Corinthians 1:13), it's just speaking the truth of God's Word as it is written (John 3:34, 2 Corinthians 4:13) without adding worldly wisdom or denominational thinking to it which takes the power out of the cross of Christ (1 Corinthians 1:17). Check the verses.
Every situation is not the same and anyone who would tell you that every healing is the same doesn't know the Word of God yet or it has been taken from them. Jesus didn't only cast out demons, but He performed cures or healed the sick (Luke 13:32). He did both according to the Word of the Lord written in Luke 13:32, and Luke 4:40-41; He laid His hands on them and healed all of them. Demons came out of many, but not all had demons, however many did and the same is true today. Not everyone needs something cast out of them, but they need the medicine contained in God's Word through ministering. If you don't think so then just go to any healing seminar you want to from the greatest healers to the least and you will see that a lot of people go home with nothing. They don't show those on TV so you'll have to go to the seminar to see what happens for yourself.
Healing from the Lord does come with salvation (Isaiah 53:5-6, Matthew 8:17) and a lot of new Christians do receive healing just by getting into a right relationship with God through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. There are many people who just got saved and started going to church that were healed even without someone casting their problem out. However, everyone doesn't need to be saved and surely we don't need to be saved twice, but not all saved Christians are healed. In fact my experience has been that the longer a person has been saved the more they need ministering before they receive healing from the Lord.
Sure some who have the faith to be healed (Acts 14:8-10) just need for someone to cast their problem out in accordance with Mark 11:22-25. Please visit "the faith to be healed" page. This has sparked a league of miracle chasers across the US today and most are just looking for the next person whom they can cast a devil out of because they are keeping up with the numbers just like others do when people are saved; just looking for the next person to say "Jesus is Lord" (Romans 10:8-13) without the slightest concern of preparing the way according to Luke 3:3-20 or teaching them to obey Jesus according to the second half of the great commission (Matthew 28:20). Praise God for that because they are still on the right team, but like the Word says, demons only come out of some so these people can only help one type of person. Therefore if they would line up every Christian in a particular city who has an infirmity then about 20% of them would receive healing right then and there with a simple command for the demon to leave and praise God for that. There only problem is getting enough people to line up, but the 80% are left behind thinking they aren't good enough, or that they need to send more money, or something worse. The bottom line is that the 80% who do not receive need ministering. I wrote "The Healing Book" to help people in this situation to find healing directly from the Lord at home like me and my wife did praise God. These signs follow those who believe (Mark 16:17-18). If you are a believer this is for you.
Let me give you some examples from the scriptures.
Luke 13:10-14
10 Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. 11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. NKJV
Now here is the perfect situation for a person who just wants to lay hands on the sick without ministering because no ministering is needed. All this lady needed was for anyone who believes (Mark 16:17-18) to cast this demon out. Even false teachers have cast out demons according to the Word of the Lord written in Matthew 7:15-23. So any Christian can do this, but don't get caught up in casing the miracles! Many are caught up in the experiences and miss out on the Word of God. Any believer can cast this demon out, Lord willing and you can learn to cast it out too by speaking directly to it and telling it to leave in the name of Jesus according to Mark 11:22-25. You would be surprised at the number of church going people who live with demons and try to pray them out (there are times when we would need to pray for the sick according to James 5:13-16 and Mark 9:29), or that learn to live with them because most do not teach the scriptures concerning this. This woman lived with her demon for 18 years and there are some sitting in church today every time the doors open who have been living with demons for years. God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Who is suppose to tell them? God is not going to cast it out because He sent the church to speak to principalities and powers (Ephesians 3:10). So if no one speaks directly to it to cast it out then it's not going anywhere.
It amazes me how people can go to church for years and never learn the scriptures, and don't want to know the scriptures even if you mention them. All it would take is for them to believe what their own Bible plainly says, but many will not even look it up. If your preacher is not preaching the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:1-4) then perhaps God didn't send him to preach (John 3:34, Jeremiah 23:22), but you did (2 Timothy 4:1-4). If you don't know any more about our new agreement with the Lord than what you knew last year then there is a breakdown in communication somewhere that needs to be fixed. Your preacher may be preaching the Word but for one reason or another you can't hear it, but either way the problem needs to be fixed because you are not getting what you need for this life according to 2 Peter 1:3. Everything we need for this life comes through our knowledge of the Lord. Check the verses to see if what I am saying is true. I don't want you to stop going to your church, but to receive healing from the Lord right where you are and to teach others to trust in the Word of God. Let’s look at another case.
Mark 2:1-12
2:1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you." 6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, 7 Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" 8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, "Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise, take up your bed and walk'? 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--He said to the paralytic, 11 I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go your way to your house." 12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!" NKJV
Now here is a man that needed his sins to be forgiven. Sure they had faith, but he needed to have his sins forgiven in order to see a manifestation of healing. There are many who just chase the next miracle using Mark 11:22-24, so they cannot minister to a person in this condition because they don't believe in James 5:16. They don't believe that anyone needs to repent of anything before they receive healing from the Lord, but wait until you read the next verses below (Revelation 20:20-23) and tell me if some people will need to repent before they are healed. There are many who quote the last part of 1 Peter 2:24, by His strips we are healed, but they never seem to hear “die to sins and live for righteousness.” If the person you are praying for is willfully sinning in an area of their life then the sickness could be from God. Don't be shocked at what I said until I show you the proof from God's Word found in your own Bible.
This brings up another area of deception because many today do not believe that God will make a Christian sick, but obviously they don't believe their own Bibles. Read Revelation 2:20-23 below and tell me how you are going to pray for this woman and her children if they come to you for prayer. Just read the verses and pretend that she and her children just came up for prayer only.
Revelation 2:20-23
20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. NKJV
Can you see that prayer alone is not going to work for her or her children? And if you are just going to try and cast this problem out then you would be fighting against God who is making the problem; "I will"...(verse 22). So now, how many times have you prayed against God? This is a miracle chaser’s night mare, because this is a spiritual person and even a spiritual family, but the problem isn’t going anywhere until there is repentance (James 5:16). Will God in you fight against God who is making her sick? When Jesus says “I will” in verse 23 what does He mean? As for those who say that God doesn't make anyone sick, if a person claims to represent God and yet speaks against God's Word are they not false teachers? They should be anywhere in the world, but in some places they are highly esteemed because no one checks what is said against the Word of God as long as the person saying it looks good and sounds good. Is Exodus 15:26 missing from your Bible? And it isn't missing from theirs either so the next time you hear blasphemy against the Word of God you can stand up and correct it yourself. Is Micah 6:13 in every Bible out there? And how about Lamentations 3:38? If these verses are in every Bible why do so many speak against them? It's because they are not sent (John3:34, Jeremiah 23:22), but they represent today's religion or a denomination and they are making disciples for that denomination and not disciples of Christ Jesus (Acts 20:30). Check the verses!
If Mark 11:22-24 worked against God then Paul’s thorn would have been removed the first time he prayed for it. It seems like every time I mention Paul’s thorn these days someone is quick to say that it wasn’t sickness. They say it with such conviction that you would think they have a verse to back it up, but they don’t. If we didn't add to God's Word according to Proverbs 30:5-6, and refused to go beyond what is written according to 1 Corinthians 4:6-7, then Paul’s thorn becomes what it says it is, “a thorn in the flesh” and not what some people say it is; "a pain in the rear." Take a thorn, bury it in your flesh, and then come and tell me that you don’t have an infirmity or in the very least an affliction and I will direct you to the nearest corn field where there are plenty of ears that you can tell that to. However, here is my point about Paul’s thorn; if he didn’t have a problem with pride, then he wouldn’t need the thorn. Did you get that? If there were no use for the thorn, then Paul wouldn't have a thorn. The thorn was to buffet him or keep him humble or to keep him from being conceded as it is written in some Bibles (2 Corinthians 12:7). What was the use of or the reason for the thorn according to what is written in your Bible? If there is an area of God’s Word that you are violating and you know you are violating it then it could be the reason for your thorn and Mark 11:22-25 will not work for you until you repent of the violation. In these cases the Word of God is the only solution (Proverbs 4:20-22) and it would take ministering the Word of God in order to fix the problem. How many Christians today have a thorn in the flesh, but the Word of God is not used to deliver them from it? If you have a thorn to buffet you (keep you humble) then wouldn't the solution come with humility, and if you could remain humble what would be the use of the thorn? Praise God! So who cares what the definition of the thorn is, because only the one who needs one will get one. Did you get that? Read the verses below and maybe they will help you get it.
Psalm 107:17-20
17 Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.
18 Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of death.
19 Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses.
20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. NKJV
If we don’t bring the Word then some people will die with their infirmity especially if they hate correction.
Proverbs 15:9-10
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But He loves him who follows righteousness.
10 Harsh discipline is for him who forsakes the way, And he who hates correction will die. NKJV
God is very serious about discipline and we should be too. We should turn before or discipline leads to permanent disabilities.
Hebrews 12:12-13
12 Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, 13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. NKJV
Do you know of anyone who lived by faith for a while and then turned away from the faith only to receive a disability? If Hebrews 12:12-13 above was preached they may have avoided it.
Hebrews 10:36-39
36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will
of God, you may receive the promise:
37 "For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not
tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith;
But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." 39 But we are
not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the
saving of the soul. NKJV
Some people do not even accept that discipline is from the Lord. They just think they are sent to fight the devil so they don’t worry about the actual Word of God.
Hebrews 12:7-10
7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what
son is not disciplined by his father? 8 If you are not disciplined (and
everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and
not true sons. 9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined
us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the
Father of our spirits and live! 10 Our fathers disciplined us for a
little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good,
that we may share in his holiness (NIV).
Not everyone will accept ministering because they don't accept the Word of God. They keep fighting against the devil when all the while they are in violation of the truth found in the Word of God and are undergoing discipline from God. God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). that is so very evident today. It's frustrating to have the solution to something, but the person needing it does not want it because of the messenger. Have we not been tricked? If John the Baptist were here today, who would listen to him? If Jesus were here wearing a robe and sandals and eating with what we consider bad folk, who would listen to Him? You would think that church going people would, but Matthew 21:28-32 proves true even today. There are people who say they follow Jesus, but don't according to what is written in their Bible and people who refuse at first, but then turn and follow Jesus according to what He has said in His Word. Which one does the will of the Father? All who do not believe the truth will be condemned.

Thessalonians 2:9-12
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan,
with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous
deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love
of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will
send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that
they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure
in unrighteousness. NKJV
Who is sending the delusion so that people will believe the "lie?" Read the verses again. God is sending it because people do not believe the truth. Oh, don't concern yourself because you are saved, right? Think again! Being saved is just the beginning of the process.

Corinthians 15:1-3
15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to
you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you
are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you--unless
you believed in vain. NKJV
Jude 5
5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord,
having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed
those who did not believe. NKJV
Praise God that you are saved, but do you believe? Please send me the verse that says that you will have eternal life without believing. You can't find the words eternal life in Romans 10:9-13. They are not there. Try Hebrews 5:9.
Hebrews 5:9-10
9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation
to all who obey Him. NKJV
Being saved is just the beginning of the process. We are shielded by faith (1 Peter 1:5), but if we do not continue in our faith (Colossian 1:21-23, Hebrews 10:36-39), then where is the shield? The goal of our faith is the salvation of our souls (1 Peter 1:9). Got faith? If God's seed remains in us then we will automatically obey (1 John 3:9, 5:18), but if we do not abide (John 15:10) then we will not remain in the vine (John 15:1-17). Learn these verses right now because this may be your only chance to see them because no one is teaching them that I can find even on TV or radio; no not one. Once you reject them there is no guarantee that you will ever be able to se them again (Mark 4:24-25). Many will seek to enter and not be able according to Luke 13:24. Many will hear on the last day; "away from me, I never knew you" (Matthew 7:21-23, Luke 13:27). Praise God that He has allowed me, a nobody, to preach His Word with signs, wonders, and miracles following! Glory Halleluiah! God has chosen the weak things of this world to put to shame the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27). He destroys the wisdom of the wise and brings to nothing the understanding of the prudent (1 Corinthians 1:19).
Now back to examples of healing. Not all infirmities are the cause of sin. Some miracles are for the glory of God alone.
John 9:1-3
9:1 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" 3 Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. NKJV
We could say all miracles are for God’s glory and to God be the glory amen, but this man was born blind for this particular reason and for this particular day and time. Do you think you would have cast this blindness out before this day and time? So this man was blind for who knows how many years, without human reason, without faith, and without God until Jesus came walking by. Imagine that. The Lord has allowed me to see some awesome miracles in this way, but most of them were not people of faith before they were healed. Praise God! Take every opportunity to go and pray for people even if they are not Christians, because salvation comes with healing (Isaiah 53:4-5).
Receiving by faith. Jesus had to talk the man in John 5 into receiving healing. Read it for yourself in John 5:1-15. He had become content with his circumstances. Jesus asked him if he wanted to be healed (verse 6) and we will come across people like this too. Their attitude is if the Lord wants me to be healed then ok. They might come up for prayer just because you are praying for people, but they won’t say things like “the Lord is going to heal me.” Steven walked up to me last year and told me that the Lord was going to heal him; he had lung cancer. I didn’t even know he was sick, but that was the first thing he said to me, “the Lord is going to heal me.” Praise God! He received healing from the Lord through a 15 second prayer. He felt it leave his body and the follow up doctor visits confirmed it a week later, praise God. So there might be some people whom we have to talk into having faith and another who has all the faith to be healed already but he doesn’t know Mark 11:22-25. The lady with the issue of blood had a different kind of faith, but it was still faith (Mark 5:25-34). She had made up her mind that when she touched Jesus’ cloths she would be healed and praise God for that, but that was the very reason she could not be healed on the couch at home watching TV or over the phone. Now they didn’t have TV’s and phones back then, but you know what I mean. If we allow something to be what I call a block for us, then it will be a block that will hinder us from reaching what God has already given us. If you are thinking that it’s going to take you six months to get better then don't be shocked if it takes you six months to get better. You cannot receive what you don't believe (James 1:5-7).
I don’t have a problem with doctors because God uses medicine. God used medicine to heal King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 20:7 so I don’t have a problem with medicine. Many people die from infirmities that others are healed of through medicine so praise God for medicine! Halleluiah! If it wasn’t for God we would not have medicine or doctors. Do you think the devil would give them to us (John 10:10)? And don’t say that you won’t take any medicine without saying Lord willing, because you don’t know what you will do until the sickness is in your house.
The bottom line is that you can line up everyone in your town who has, let’s say back problems and about 20% of them would receive healing with just a simple command, but about 80% would need ministering and prayer and some would need prayer and fasting. This has been my experience. The people who just chase miracles are looking for that 20% as fast as they can, but who will minister to the remaining 80%? Praise God for those who chase miracles! The only problem I have with people who chase miracle is that some ruin the faith of those who do not receive healing and those who have their infirmities come back because they do not bring the doctrine of Jesus with them (2 John 1:7-11), but human reasoning's which amount to containing great swelling words of emptiness. So then the people are left chasing the miracle worker rather than following Christ Jesus.
There are other problems that need ministering too. Older Christians who have not given there life to helping others (righteous acts) may lose their quality of life in their latter years. Those who find their life loose it, but those who lose their life for Jesus find it. Picking up our cross daily and following Jesus is not singing in the choir every Sunday. Singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, and helping out around the church may be one of your talents, but Jesus command us to love one another (John 13:34-35) and He gave us some very precise examples of how we are to carry that command out in James 2:14-24 and 1 John 3:11-23 and 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and Luke 10:25-42 and Matthew 25:31-46. Die to sin and live for righteousness, by His stripes we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). So it isn’t just sin that can bring infirmities, but not living for righteousness as well.
Another reason for being in need of healing, especially generational curses is the Laws of Moses. My book "The Healing Book" covers this in detail and I may add teachings on this to this site in the near future. Many churches today if not most are still under parts of the Laws of Moses and therefore the curses associated with the Laws of Moses are common place in their churches. These curses can be found in Deuteronomy 28:15-68. Again this a person in this condition will need ministering. The people who chase miracles will not be able to cast this out either because in most cases they are under he Laws of Moses themselves. False teachers commonly teach the Laws of Moses as a requirement according to 1 Timothy 1:3-11.
